🏜️ Desert Death March: 4 Days of Jerky, Slickrock & Survival 🥵🐟
Where adventure meets comfort… kinda.
🌅 Day 1: Into the Great (Dry) Unknown
We stepped into the fiery arms of the Utah desert with nothing but beef jerky, trail mix, and enough water to make a camel jealous. The air was hot enough to toast a tortilla on a boulder, but the slickrock scenery stole our breath before the heat did.
🎣 Day 2: Catch or Starve (No Pressure)
By noon, the trail mix was more of a memory than a meal. So we turned to nature. A homemade trap netted us a rabbit (don't worry, we said thank you), and a nearby stream offered trout that practically jumped into our pan.
🧗♂️ Day 3: Cliffs, Ropes, and the Sound of Our Own Screaming
We hit the cliffs with rope, gloves, and sheer optimism. Rappelling down sunbaked sandstone walls with 30 pounds of gear isn’t for the faint of heart—or weak of snack supply.
Fun Statement:
"Gravity never felt so personal." 😬
🏕️ Day 4: Sunburns, Sore Legs, and Soul Fuel
We limped into the final leg like crusty warriors, burned, dusty, and proud. The sunset painted the rocks in gold and orange. It felt less like a death march, more like a rite of passage.
🧭 Would We Do It Again?
Absolutely. Because that’s what Camp and Comfort is all about—finding peace in the wild, joy in the grit, and a little humor in every hard-earned blister.
Stay wild. Stay cozy. Until the next adventure. 🌵🔥
